Hello Dear Friends,

 

It may seem odd that while I placed a few wonderful pictures of Glenn Beck's "Restore Honor" rally in DC that I also have published author Cliff Kincaid's article "Mixed Messages from Glenn Beck" on the front page of the American Prophet website.

 

No it is not a contradiction or a non-sequitur, but rather it is in keeping with an absolute surrender to every word that God has spoken. Everyone will someday answer to the things spoken by scripture and that includes me. While I love Beck and respect the work he is doing I do not agree that homosexual marriages don't have a negative effect on our nation.

 

In fact they will be one of the chief causes that our nation and the entire world will be plunged into reprobation, darkness and ultimately God's severe and ultimate judgment.

 

Very few behaviors are called "abominations" in the scripture but homosexuality is labeled as such in more than one single place. A sin that is an abomination means it is a transgression that makes God sick to disgust. That is some serious stuff.

 

Those with prophetic callings are at times grouped in with those who chase UFOs or those who hear strange voices or think they are a potato chip. I am willing to bear anybody's opinion of me to remain true to the Father's word. That means that if you are going to represent God you cannot be a "respecter of persons."

 

"Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:" (Acts 10:34)

 

Regardless of cultural changes, doubters or popular notions and popular personalities we will stand by the word of our God. If all but a few of those that now visit this site regularly should break ranks and stop reading the American Prophet articles and news, we will not alter any part of our position to please man.

 

I endorse Mr. Kincaid's views and I also continue to respect Mr. Beck's work for the nation but in the end I will stand by the word of God if the entire world should turn against me. To wit:

 

"For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;" (Romans 1: 26-28)
