Baby Born Alive After Botched 24-Week Abortion Screamed for an Hour as Doctors Left Child to Die
In the first place all life is sacred and that includes the unborn child. There should be no differentiation between a human baby that is outside the mother’s womb and the human baby that is inside the mother’s womb.
In this particular case according to the article: medical tests suggested that the baby had Down syndrome. Suggested? In other words they may not even have been positive of this but the woman still made the decision to end her baby’s life. Because of Down syndrome? Who would not prefer a normal healthy baby, but to kill a baby over this is inexcusable.
The hospital spokesperson said the mother and the baby’s dignity were respected. Ok so the hospital performed a medical procedure to murder an innocent baby, and the baby’s dignity is of concern and importance? What am I missing here? This sounds more like political correctness on steroids than anything else. While respect for the dead is a good thing, how much respect did the staff have for this child as they set out to kill him or her?
After hospital personnel botched the abortion and this baby – at almost 24 weeks gestation (the legal limit to abort a child in Poland) — was born alive, then the baby was left to scream for an hour before dying.
At this stage, close to 24 weeks, the baby does feel pain – and so this child not only suffered the pain of whatever method was used to attempt to kill him or her, this child was left to die in pain apparently all alone. How barbaric…
Apparently now the staff members involved in this heinous procedure could possibly be charged with a crime, possibly even homicide, as they left a newborn baby to die. I will say it this writer’s hope that they are charged with homicide.
Although this case occurred in Poland, there have been similar situations that happened right here in the U.S.A. Even worse things have been done – like throwing the newborn baby in a dumpster like yesterday’s trash. In the U.S. many states allow abandoning a baby safely, commonly referred to as, Baby Moses and Safe Haven Laws, a baby can be left at police and fire stations etc. There is even a web site that tells people how to do so. This is definitely preferable to an abortion or simply dumping the child and abandoning him or her to their fate. As well there is always adoption, there are plenty of people are looking to adopt a baby, even those that have special needs.
In the U.S. and Poland, abortion is legal. Now, take that same identical baby – remove him or her from the mother’s womb, and then kill the child and it is murder. Let’s say that the baby is at 23 weeks gestation, if the life of this child is ended while inside the mother, it is legal. Take this exact same child, remove it in one way or another from inside the mother’s body – then kill him or her – and this is considered murder. What sense does this make, how is it that this is acceptable?
Basically the law is stating that if the proper procedure is adhered to – the murder of an innocent child is acceptable. This is reprehensible and disgusting.

I am firmly against abortion, therefore when I read this headline I was angry, among other things – like sickened, disgusted, and outraged:
