The Antichrist’s Forerunner by Prophecy Dude, Posted August 8, 2013
As John the Baptist was assigned to announce the transition from the system of the law and prophets to the kingdom of God in his proclaiming the Lamb of God, so Satan will have his forerunner assigned to prepare the way for the Antichrist. Who is this person and how will he announce the Antichrist?
USA President Barak Obama’s seemingly frenzied work to influence change all over the world has often labeled him the Antichrist. His behaviors and speeches certainly foster this opinion that many people have.
At this point in time, there isn’t much else of which we know that fits Obama into the role of the Antichrist, but he is certainly paving the way for the son of perdition. Obama falls short of meeting scriptural description of the Antichrist in Daniel and Revelation, for the time being.
We can say he’s paving the way though. This doesn’t mean he is necessarily the forerunner to the Antichrist, but it does mean Obama is a key player in the system of the Antichrist. The system is the vehicle that elevates the Antichrist into his fully matured position. John the Revelator described it as a spirit. John would know:
Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour. 1 John 2:18
And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world. 1 John 4:3
It’s not getting better, but worse.
Our jaws may drop at the rapid degradation, but God doesn’t have even the hint of a surprised look on His face. We see it as getting bad; He sees it fulfilling. It’s the process to the end of the age. God’s calling it in.
All the host of heaven shall be dissolved,
Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. Revelation 6:14
“You, Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth,
The spirit or system of the Antichrist has been in existence since the fall of man. It’s been seeking its destined fulfillment, its coming out, its time of glory where it rules and reigns. When the time is right, the Antichrist himself will take his place and fulfill his destiny prophesied in the Bible. He will be buoyed by the system. When the time is right, similarly as it was right for Jesus, Satan will release his son of perdition. Satan has been dressed and ready for a long time. God will allow it because the time is right.
But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. Galatians 4:4-5
The Antichrist won’t suddenly appear with great power, but he will be raised and placed by the system. We can know the proximity of his revealing by watching the signs of the system as it escalates and incubates its prized man of sin. He can’t come in righteousness and glory, but only through sin and death—the lifeblood of Satan. Sin and death diminish creativity and clarity of thought. A shadow of darkness hangs on those who follow him.
When the shadow is just right, and sin and death are in their place, the Antichrist will assume his position. In response, the people will cheer because they’ve been shadowed by the spirit of antichrist.
Barak Obama is part of the Antichrist system whose service is to prepare the way for the son of perdition. He’s not the only one in Satan’s service—there are many minions in bondage to Satan’s slavery all over the world.
If it’s the False Prophet or someone else who takes the assignment of forerunner, the antichrist system or spirit is what makes it happen. The signs of that system’s increasing influence are all around us penetrating into every aspect of life. It comes as an uncontrollable flood. But God…
But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:4-10
So shall they fear
And God gave power to enable the church to be light in darkness…
But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth. Acts 1:8
He’s given us power to be light in the darkness. Great will be that light, because the darkness is becoming very dark.
