The Shameless Nation – Are We Celebrating Our Own Demise? Rev Michael Bresciani, May 25, 2013The ever increasing bullying of the gay agenda in America has now resulted in changes for the Boy Scouts of America that are devastating. Now openly gay boys will be allowed to become boy scouts because of the vote of some 1,400 BSA leaders.
The battle is far from over and dozens if not hundreds of lawsuits will be forthcoming in the days ahead. There are about 1.1 million scouts across the nation and many of them will be leaving the scout troops for several obvious reasons. Firstly many parents do not want their boys exposed to gay activity because of their personal and religious convictions.
According to NARTH (National Association for Research and Therapy of Homosexuals) a recent report says that there is no doubt that “homosexual youth are sexually active than their heterosexual peers.” The study was based on a sampling of teens in Massachusetts and the results are published in an article written by Michelle Cretella, MD and David C. Pruden, MS, entitled “Research Pertinent to the Boy Scouts of America Policy Change Debate.” May 20, 2013
Another cause for future exits from the BSA is due to the fact that many of the troops across the nation are sponsored by churches and religious ministries that are strongly opposed to the promulgation of the gay agenda. Sponsorship will be pulled and not offered again in many cases.
What never seems to occur to either the President who announced for everything gay since his first term, to the beleaguered congress that are being bombarded by gay activist groups is that; the words of the Bible about the sinfulness of homosexuality are written in their hearts, not just the pages of the world’s most revered and trusted book.
We do not accept because it has become vogue the call to everything LBGT and by no means do Christians equate the gay agenda as the just cause of a civil group that is being denied their rights. They are not a race, or a particular religion or creed but simply a people who want to put their preferences and choices on a level as normal, acceptable and moral. This world will come to its ignominious end before real Christians ever accept the perversion of the LBGT as something as normal.
True believers are well beyond worrying about whether people can see the troubles, catastrophes and disasters as part and parcel to the judgments that follow our worst national behavior.
Not long after the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals struck down California’s Prop-8 as unconstitutional most of the western states, but especially California began burning and homes and property was devastated.
Only days before Southern Decadence was to begin its celebrations in New Orleans, Hurricane Katrina came to end it and anything else planned in that area for years to come.
Only one day after the State of Oklahoma began its ‘Gay Pride Week” the worst tornado in the history of the planet touched down to flatten over 12,000 homes and properties.
People may doubt that God would do these kinds of interventions, they blame global warning, solar flares, coincidence and shear bad luck, but according to the Bible these kinds of interventions will come from God with ever increasing frequency until they become even more frequent and far more intense. No Christian who has read his bible can deny these things – nor would they want to.
The idea of a ‘gay pride celebration’ is proof of a well prophesied condition of reprobation that is to choke the world as it nears the last days prior to a full judgment. The Apostle Paul fully warned there would be a day in which sin was not only regarded as perfectly OK, but it would be celebrated.
“Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.” (Ro 1: 32)
While we follow the latest scandal at the White House, the DOJ or the IRS and watch the unfolding circus of seekers who battle with the keepers of secrets and their Teflon President, exactly what is there to celebrate?
If all that it takes is full agreement among the sinners that a particular behavior is morally acceptable beware of what’s next. Perhaps convicts around the nation, the world may decide to unionize, march, demonstrate and then celebrate, murder, child molestation, robbery, et al. Why wait until a gene is isolated just gather and push for first amendment rights to our worst behavior. Hey, it seems it is working for some people already.
We need to stop worrying about being on ‘the wrong side of history’ in regards to the gay agenda, or any new socially advancing change that is openly immoral. When a nation ceases to believe in the God that created it anyone, president or fool can come along with a message of ‘change we can believe in,’ everyone will believe in something and if anything will do, we are the easiest mark for the deceivers in this world.
The greatest mistake that can be made in a lifetime is to be found on the wrong side of eternity.
To the very last moment of time you may know that you’ve come to the right side of eternity, when your sins end in a feeling of shame. When that shame is acted upon it is salvation that follows. This formula is ordained of God and when history's wrangling and wresting of God’s truth finally comes to a halt this is what will remain, to wit:
“What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death. But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Ro 6: 21-23) Related American Youth Caught by the Tail?
